Traveling is one of the most popular hobbies. In addition of enjoying, it teaches some useful lessons. During the journey one will get familiar with different things. For instance, different appetites, clothes, religions, societies, climates, natures and the most important thing is knowing new people, probably new friends. So, your destination is connected to different factors and your point of view can influence your choice. Among all places that you may think about, the journey to Iran can be “ an unforgettable journey”. Although some medium try to show a negative image, it can be easily found that all of them are insane. Any way during your journey to Iran there are many things to do. So first of all make sure that you have enough time to visit at least important places.

Iran is one of the oldest civilizations in the world, at least 7000 years. Even according to archeologists the oldest signs of living in Iran dates back to about 800000 years ago, they found some stone tools ,belonged to the first humans at the northeast of Iran. Moreover, the first two widest empires trough the history were centered in Iran, Achamanids and Sassanids. So there are things to do in Iran, you can go to Fars province and visit the admirable remnants of Achamanids in Persepolis, feel the glory of Persia and be surprised by small details. In Pasargadae you will meet the tomb of Cyrus the great and the premier sketch of Persian gardens. Necropolis was always a place of importance, as, Achamanid tombs, Sassanid reliefs, an Elamite relief and the Zoroastrian cube are located there. Bishapur city with 6 Sassanid reliefs in Chogan strait, The palace of Ardeshir, daughter castle and the Sassanid palace are other Sassanid ensembles in Fars province. In addition there are some other important place in Shiraz, the center of Fars province. Safavid era was the flourishing time of Iran, so that’s why it is recommended visiting Isfahan during your journey to Iran. There you will be stare at the astonishing architecture of Naqsh-e jahan square and monuments around it such as Sheikh Lotfollah mosque, Shah or Imam mosque and Ali Qapu palace. Chehel sotun palace is another masterpiece of Safavid architecture in Isfahan which worth visiting. In Tehran, visiting museums and some palaces is recommended. Any way, if you are interested in the pure history of Iran make sure that you have enough time.

Although many believe that Iran is a desert, it has a unique nature. To the north of Iran there is one of the oldest jungles, known as Hirakani jungles, near the Caspian sea. If you are interested in trekking there are mountains like Damavand, the highest mountain in Iran, which is a passive volcano. Those who like Ski can go to Dizin, Shemshak or pooladkaf Ski Resorts. To the south there some Irelands of which some are unique. Qeshm and Kish Irelands are the most important ones. And Hormoz Ireland is famous by its vibrant color . In order to visit deserts you should go at the center and east. Also, one of the hottest part of the world is located in Iran, known as Shahdad desert. In addition, you can visit some spas to the northwest and southeast of Iran. Above all, some special spices are living in Iran, such as; Asiatic Cheetah, a kind of Gazelle called Maral and Iranian Zebra.

In fact, it is depended on which part of Iran you are traveling to, because in each area there some special food that you can’t find it any where else, or at least with the same quality. For instance, Mirza Qasemi is a popular meal among people near the Caspian sea, to the north, or Boaz Ghormeh is a delicious food belonged to Qashqai tribe, most of them are living in Fars province. In addition there some national food, such as Ghormeh sabzi, Dizi and Kebab which are the most popular meals among Iranian. Make sure that you are not in a diet, because no one can help eating there.

In your trip you may be asked by Iranian that what your attitude is about their country. Actually, it is caused by some medium which show a wrong image about Iran. They always try to show that Iran is not a safe country, while it’s one of the safest. Finally, Iran is a country with a high capacity of tourism that can be a good destination for those whom want to discover mysteries of history, feel the four seasons of the year at the same time and find new lovely friends.
